A law enacted in 1990’s restrict the maximum height to 300 mts, however government of India has in past approved some buildings above 300 mts on case to case basis. Imperial Tower in Mumbai which is a residential tower built in 2010 is the tallest building in India with a height of 254 mts, Victory Valley with 172 mts is the largest in Gurgaon and 47th tallest building in India. All other 46 buildings are in Mumbai making it a clearly India’s capital when it comes to tall buildings. World one which is expected to be completed by 2018 is the tallest under construction building with 442 mts height and 117 floors.
